My Thoughts and Experiences are Here
Close to my Spotify playlists and a nice cup of coffee.
We all leave a part of ourselves in every piece of content that we create and share: our thoughts, our point of views, a pinch of our personalities.
Inspiration plays an important part for me when putting together my ideas and writing them down.
Over the years, I have collected words that have inspired me to write about certain topics. Today I’m putting together fragments of some of my articles and the thoughts of those who inspired me to write each and every one of them.
Here we go.
“The power of social media is that it forces necessary change”. – Erik Qualman
Being social, what it means today, is what has inspired me to do. When boundaries of place and time disappear, you get to learn so much more about this world and the people in it. We are brought closer together in a way that I never even dreamed of, back in the XX Century. – A Look Back in History: Two Decades of Social Media
“When you do what you fear most, then you can do anything”. ― Stephen Richards
I don’t know what will happen in the future, if only I had that power, but I look for inspiration to understand and finally believe that what we dream we can achieve if we only start working for it.
Our dreams are nothing more than our ideas playing with what-if’s in different scenarios. Let’s take them out of our heads and bring them into our lives. – The Path to Discovering Lifestyle Freedom
“In quoting others, we cite ourselves.” – Julio Cortázar
What is it about quotes, and thoughts, that make them so fascinating? For some people, it’s a way to cope with a situation. Others just look to connect and engage. For many others, it’s mainly inspiration that can relate to daily circumstances and conditions and a form of expression.
For me, they are inspiring words and thoughts full of meaning that can help you see things from another perspective; an invitation to open your mind and learn; a feeling of togetherness between minds. – Quotes that Should Change the Way You Think
“The best marketing doesn’t feel like marketing.” – Tom Fishburne
Emotional branding looks for audiences to get hooked.
But why all the efforts to touch people? It’s simple; because people are hardwired for emotion, sentiment, passion, love. People make decisions based on sentiment. Passion encourages. Love, well, let’s just say that “Love makes the world go round.” People are pushed into action when a conscious or unconscious desire is triggered by emotion. – Creating Bonds Through Emotional Branding
“The biggest communication problem is we do not listen to understand. We listen to reply”. – Zig Ziglar
Communication is a two-way street. That is why listening, or monitoring becomes essential once you step into the social arena. – Communication Gets Better When You Are Listening
“Life has moved on, we’ve all moved on and you have a better measure of… satisfaction, of friendship, of love… of… whatever…” – Norman Foster
I realize that I live in a virtual reality; I have virtual friends and virtual connections with real life conversations.
It would be great to be able to meet with old friends or meet new people every day, close a business deal with a real handshake and kiss someone goodbye. Real relationships in real life are important but we don’t always have the time for them. We have jobs, our kids, our families. Ourselves.
Teleportation will always be an option. Eventually. But for the time being, a combination of virtual and reality is what we have. – You do WHAT for a living?
“Regardless of age, regardless of position, regardless of the business we happen to be in, all of us need to understand the importance of branding. We are CEOs of our own companies: Me Inc. To be in business today, our most important job is to be head marketer for the brand called You… ” – Tom Peters
Defining oneself as a “brand” is not easy to embrace but the truth is that, in terms of physical, emotional and intellectual, we are all unique and carry with us a specific set of characteristics that make us who we are and differentiate us from one another. Just as brands are people, people can become brands.
The laws of attraction apply to love and business, and at particular moments in time. Finding our perfect business match is within our hand’s reach. All we need to do is define an open, yet effective communication style online to connect with the world. – Turning Trends into Traditions with Personal Branding
And about next year…
“Make time to enjoy the simple things in life”. – Unknown 🙂
